Country Councilor Publishes Quality Book

Sunil Thawani, ASQ Country Councilor in the United Arab Emirates, recently published and introduced a quality publication, Business Excellence Awards—Strategies for Winning. The book was launched by Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Honorable Minister of Economy, United Arab Emirates.

Thawani, a senior manager of corporate governance of Sama Dubai, highlights the importance of business excellence and provides inspiration and impetus for improvement leaders to adopt business excellence frameworks in his book.

He has assisted many organizations in enhancing their performance in terms of quality, cost, service and delivery, as well as winning prestigious business excellence awards. Additionally, he has served as member of the jury, team leader and senior examiner for the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award and Dubai Quality Award for several cycles. Thawani is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt and business process reengineering facilitator.
